You have questions,

Documentary & Journalistic Wedding Photographer

What are your rates?

Local engagement sessions are $750, and wedding coverage starts at $4,800. Each wedding is different, so reach out on the contact form.

Do you have hourly packages / limits on wedding day coverage?

Nope. I’m yours for the day. I don’t like imposing limits on your wedding day, and I’m all about eliminating unnecessary stress.

I’m awkward in front of the camera.

Not a question. But so am I. So are most of my couples. I encourage you to look at all of the images on my site and social media; most of those real couples told me they were awkward too.

What is your process?

I try to keep things low-key. This is a wedding, not a photoshoot afterall. I prefer cheeky and fun shenanigans. Check out my about me page for more.

Step 1: Fill out the contact form with all your deets.
Step 2: Schedule a zoom call with me to discuss your wedding.
(If you don’t, I’ll remind you.)
Step 3: Pay your retainer and sign the contract. Once a retainer is placed, your date is reserved in my calendar. (hooray!)
Step 4: Plan your dream wedding. I’ll likely be meeting you in person for an engagement session or planning meeting, so if we’re not homies by your wedding day, I owe you a bagel.
Step 5: Great success

How do you edit your photos?

Very carefully. I don’t use presets, filters or anything that could be copy and pasted to the next. I strive to keep things natural, true to life and timeless.

How many photos do I get?

All of them. My average wedding is 500-1000 images, depending on the wedding day and the quantity of shenanigans that transpired.

How long does it take?

Very fast. Usually less than 30 days. If you want, ask about same day/next day editing. (For a fee, of course.)

How do I receive my photos?

You get an online gallery with full resolution, downloadable and shareable images. I also back everything up for many moons should disaster strike and you need me to send them again.

Do I get to print my own photos? Do you provide a print release?

Yes and yes. All images are full resolution and print released for you to share on the ‘gram and print for the fridge. If you want high-quality, professionally printed albums, wall art or loose prints, let me know and I’d be happy to help.

Do you travel?

Yes. I’ve traveled all over the southwest and particularly AZ for weddings, and I’d love to go farther. If you have a dream venue in mind, reach out and we’ll discuss logistics.

I’m not sure if I need a second photographer, do you have one?

I do. With that said, 90% of my weddings are solo operations. I don’t like to turn your day into a whole production. I like to blend in as much as I can, like a ninja, lurking in the shadows.

However, if you have a larger wedding, or 2 different things are happening in different places at the same time, let me know and I’ll bring one of my trusted second shooters so we don’t miss a single moment.

Do you give out RAW files?

Nope. That would be like asking a chef to give you raw meat. Let him cook.

Can my second cousin'ts take photos during the wedding too?

Sure, but I promise I’m better at it. I love unplugged ceremonies, just sayin’.

Do you have insurance?

Yep. If your venue needs it, just let me know and I'll forward the necessary documents.

What’s your rescheduling policy?

No one likes change, but sometimes things happen. (Looking at you, Covid) If it’s a session that can be rescheduled, (like an engagement or adventure session) just communicate that within a reasonable time and we’ll find another date. If your wedding plans change, be sure to communicate your new date with me to confirm availability. The first reschedule is free, after that I have to charge for my time.

What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?

African or European?

Pineapple on pizza?

let's do this!
